The show originated in the early 2000’s with former host and Barton PR Video student employee and alumnae: Latosha Wallace. She was a Broadcast Journalism major and member of the track team. She wanted to get experience hosting a talk show. Wallace interviewed many Barton guests during her two year career that included the President, many students and Olympian Veronica Campbell Brown.
Steve Webster is currently the show’s host. The program is used to promote all Barton related academic programs, classes, events, campaigns, activities, or sports. Guests prepare a list of talking points they want to be asked during the program and submit via to Julie one week in advance. The interview can be conducted in studio at 1200 Baker St. in Great Bend or via phone. It is livestreamed on Barton’s main Facebook page. One or two guests can be in studio with the host.
