As Chief Communications Officer at Barton Community College, Amanda leads the College’s overall communications and marketing strategy, overseeing brand management, media relations, and internal and external messaging. She ensures consistent, accurate, and engaging storytelling that supports enrollment, strengthens community and statewide partnerships, and aligns with institutional priorities. Amanda also guides crisis communication, supervises the communications team and vendors, and drives data-informed campaigns that elevate Barton’s visibility and impact.

Joe leads content development and storytelling efforts, working closely with student content creators to capture authentic Barton experiences through photography and multimedia. He supports media relations, writes and distributes press materials, and helps execute social media and advertising campaigns to promote programs, events, and institutional initiatives.

Aaron leads video production and visual storytelling for the College, managing a high volume of creative projects from concept through completion. He captures, edits, and produces dynamic photo and video content to support marketing campaigns, events, and institutional initiatives, while balancing tight timelines and multiple priorities to keep projects moving efficiently.

The Web Content Strategist manages the College’s websites, ensuring pages are up to date, accessible, and running smoothly across all departments. They serve as a go-to resource for web-related needs, from small updates to building new pages, and provides training and support to campus web editors. In addition to their web expertise, they assists with graphic projects and brings a great eye for design, helping maintain a cohesive and polished online presence for Barton.

Connie leads the consistency and quality of Barton’s brand, ensuring all visual elements, from the Cougar logo to the Barton wordmark, are applied accurately and professionally across the institution. She designs a wide range of materials, including print and digital advertisements, posters, calendars, digital displays, outdoor signage, billboards, and vehicle wraps. She also plays a key role in maintaining the visual integrity of the College’s website, ensuring it remains current, cohesive, and aligned with Barton’s brand standards.

The Communications Strategist at Barton Community College plays a key role in executing the College’s marketing and advertising efforts as part of a dynamic, creative team. This position manages paid advertising strategy, including the scheduling, placement, and oversight of media across traditional, social, mobile, and digital platforms. The role also supports the development and coordination of marketing content while tracking budgets and reporting on campaign performance, ensuring campaigns are effective, strategic, and aligned with institutional goals.
